About The Tailored Closet of Carlsbad, Palm Desert & Temecula

Sheryl's dream was to run The Tailored Closet with her late husband. After managing her family through the devastation of a sudden loss, she continued on and started The Tailored Closet on her own and is now a woman-owned franchise. Sheryl loves meeting with her clients and transforming what was once a drab or non-functional space, into a place her clients love to walk into. Whether it's a closet, a pantry, or any of the many The Tailored Closet projects, Sheryl truly has a passion for helping people plan their spaces and enjoy using them day after day.

Dustin's background is in telecommunications and he is now our install foreman.

Dustin enjoys working with wood to build closets and cabinets, and in his own words, ""I love what I do.""

Dustin is a man of great talent and few words, and when it's football season, you'll find him watching the Chicago Bears.

Hunter follows the motto that there are no problems, only solutions. After working in the wineries, Hunter brings his can-do mindset to The Tailored Closet where he most enjoys solving design challenges.

Hunter lives in Oceanside. When he's not working you'll find him hitting the beaches for a well-earned surf session.

Shannon has been a part of our design team since we started in early 2019.

She was a local general manager for a national housewares retailer for 8 years, and she is also an experienced realtor. Shannon made the career change to do something she has always had a love for, interior design and home organization.

A California native, Deanna brings a wealth of experience to The Tailored Closet, celebrating three years with us and a total of ten years in the organization industry. Having managed operations for the Orange County office for four years, Deanna joined our team in Temecula Valley with her family in the fall of 2020. Despite being new to the area, her veteran status at The Tailored Closet speaks volumes about her expertise and dedication. We're thrilled to have Deanna aboard, not only for her extensive knowledge of TTC but also for her shared passion for sushi and ice cream!

Deanna does a lot! And by a lot, we mean A LOT! From ordering all the parts and pieces for each project, to scheduling and project managing, Deanna helps us track all our jobs and find efficiencies across the business.

When she is off the clock, Deanna enjoys outdoor activities with her hubby, 2 children and German Shephard named Oakley, and relaxing with friends at the wineries.

Palm Springs-area clients will most likely be meeting with Anne when they book their design consultation.

Anne brings more than 25 years of sales experience to her role at The Tailored Closet - 8 of those were with a home restoration company and proudly 3 years with us! 

Anne has a passion for interior design and enjoys seeing her client's happiness when their project is completed.

Anne and her husband were part-time La Quinta residents before making it their full-time home in 2017.

Introducing our valued team member at The Tailored closet, celebrating 2 years with us, Betsie Illum with 13 years of combined experience in construction and interior design, Betsie brings a wealth of expertise to every project. She enjoys witnessing designs come to life, a testament to her passion for creating beautiful spaces. Outside of work, Betsie enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old golden retriever, Winnie, and her family, including daughters Zoe (11) and Lucy (5). A native of St. Petersburg, FL, Bestie has called North County home since 2008. In her free time, she can be found enjoying the water, golfing, and exploring new destinations. With Italy on their bucket list, Betsie embodies an adventurous spirit that mirrors her dedication to bringing creativity and innovation to each project.
